HiddenI put my hand to the wall
and years of dust came off
when I took my hand away,
revealing the beauty within,
a sparkling jewel of color in a world of gray,
people hurrying on with their day,
their unending, forever flowing, list of things to do,
I stood apart from the flood of humanity
and reveled in the secret garden I had found,
where memories soared like so many beautiful
colorful winged creatures,
I opened the door and left the world
of never-ceasing schedules, of stagnant
gray pools, pretending to progress, but never
changing so much like clock-work,
I walked down the halls of my
secret garden, brushing free the
beauty o

WishHow she wished for wings of white
to soar the sky
by day or night,
she wished to fly

Your EyesWhat are you hiding
all locked up, but
showing through your eyes

What are you trying to say
without speaking, trying
to show me with those eyes

What do you see
so far away, yet closer than anyone
realized, internalized watching with soulful eyes

Whom are you trying to warn
cryptically speaking, mutely shrieking to run
luring with honeyed words only to be betrayed by...your eyes

The thiefIn darkness sleeping
girl, a predator is creeping
toward his prey, stirring
slightly, wrong time to move towards consciousness,
predator pauses and smiles alluring
even with his fangs, prey is weeping
knowing what comes next, one scream
before slipping into eternal dreams,
as roses fade leaving marble or snow,
the thief filled with his crimson treasure turns to go,
leaving behind a doll, once flesh and blood,
to be packed into a box and sent elsewhere.
